Billy and I married in 1998 after dating for 6 years. In 2006 we adopted AnnaKate. We were lucky enough to meet her birth mother and take her home from the hospital. At about 4 months old, AnnaKate was diagnosed with Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome. Through all of AnnaKate's struggles and delays she surprises and delights us daily! Thanks for marking this spot and coming back often to check in on us.

Is that my Alex laying on the floor with a bow in his hair??? That second picture with her profile really looks like Alex.....She is too funny, and what a good sleeper! I wish I could do that.
She's probably exhausted from all the new things she is doing!! Wouldn't it be nice to fall asleep whenever you were tired?
She's a power-napper! I'm envious as that's a skill I've never mastered. Go, AnnaKate!
If I had come over and found her like that I would have freaked. Probably it would be a combination of laughter and what the ----. I have had the same desire to fall asleep at the drop of a hat lately...I assume its the change in the season. But I have not as yet fallen asleep sitting up. And the floor is not an option for me...the only time I'd be sleep on the floor is if I had a moment of "Help I've fallen and I can't get up" and no one came so I fell asleep waiting.
See you soon. Aunt B
Austin does the exact same thing. He once fell asleep laying over the recliner with his feet still on the floor. Whatever works! LOL
Kelly, that is hilarious!! It's not like it was even carpet...it was hardwood floors - so funny!
That is just too precious! I can completely understand being so worn out that you want to just "cat nap" anywhere. She is a busy girl.
Cassie
That is hilarious! I love it! :)
