Growing so fast.....

Up to this point, I have never uttered those words about AnnaKate. She is just the most petite little girl and she stayed a baby for so, so long. But she really seems to be growing up so fast! Physically, she is still little (22.5 lbs) but she is really getting taller. Developmentally, things have really been "clicking" for her. She is communicating so much more. She can wave hello and bye-bye, sign yes, more and finished. I love to watch how she is interacting more with other children and really seems so aware of what is around her. She is trying so hard to walk. She will push just about anything around the house as her walker...chairs, boxes, etc. It is so fun to see her figuring things out on her own and expressing her likes (an dislikes) for things. AnnaKate is at such a fun stage and I am happy to say that she is "growing so fast"!

On another note, I spoke with the anesthesiologists today regarding AnnaKate's tonsillectomy next week. He had done some research on RTS and felt good about her surgery. It is a good sign that she has previously tolerated the anesthesia. So we are on for September 10th around lunch time!

How exciting to see so much progress! It sounds like she is really "coming into her own". I hope you can both really enjoy this stage.

I can not get over how much AK and Will look alike. Do you think that I should put one of those cute bows in his hair and take a picture just to compare?? Seriously, they look so much alike to me.

I am so excited to hear about all that AnnaKate is doing! That is fantastic!

Will has never had a problem with anasthesia. I pray that everything will go well for AnnaKate next week!

I can tell you that Archie's tonsillectomy made all the difference in the world. Once it's over, I think you'll be happy to have done it.

Glad to hear that AnnaKate is doing so well!

I am intrigued by how our RTSweeties start "clicking" as you said - it's like they have been learning, working through stuff underneath the surface where we can't see. And then what seems out of the blue they do something new, they just seem to get it. What joy that brings, I'm sure you are loving seeing her discovering her world more. She is too adorable

She is growing up so fast! It is amazing how much they change in such a short amount of time. They leave their "babyhood" overnight it seems and turn the corner into toddlerhood. It is so great to watch!
