Kitchen Fun!

Yesterday, AnnaKate and I had some fun in the kitchen. I needed to peel some butternut squash so I decided to fill up the sink and let AnnaKate play while I worked. She had a ball! She poured, splashed and giggled. Unfortunately, she poured and splashed water all over the kitchen and I never got my squash peeled BUT we had fun.

Cindy the CPAP has turned out to be a hit! Right now we are just introducing AnnaKate to the mask and she actually likes it. Today she even brought it to me to put on her. Can you believe that? We are not out of the woods just yet, she still has to learn to like the pressure of the air when we turn the machine on and don't forget sleeping with that crazy thing on.

I did get my squash peeled today and my first batch of butternut squash soup is on the stove. The house smells so good. I just can't wait for fall.

Wow, you sure are getting a jump on fall! I would love your recipe. We eat a lot of soup in the fall.

I'm happy to see that Anna Kate is responding to her CPAP well. Nathan has his T&A surgery on the 23rd and we are told if this doesn't help his apnea, then he will have to wear one too.

That is definitely AnnaKate...even with her CPAP on, she's got a huge bow! ;)

Oh yum! I love the butternut soup! Now that we have had a taste of cooler weather I'm all set for fall!

Harris loves to play in the sink too! So glad Cindy is not too worrisome!

Kelly, fall means germs, which means snot, which means coughing, which means H1N1!!!! You cant like fall just because of soup...:)
Im so glad she is being so good about Cindy cpap. What a sweet heart, I just know that she will eventually sleep just fine with it.

That sounds so delicious! Fall is just around the corner and you are already prepared.

AK looked so cute playing in the sink, I use to do that when I was her age.
