Wordless Wednesday
** A few words needed for this post. AnnaKate's teachers emailed me these pictures today. The email read..."This is what we do with your child at preschool." Why is the precious child beside her so clean????

Billy and I married in 1998 after dating for 6 years. In 2006 we adopted AnnaKate. We were lucky enough to meet her birth mother and take her home from the hospital. At about 4 months old, AnnaKate was diagnosed with Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome. Through all of AnnaKate's struggles and delays she surprises and delights us daily! Thanks for marking this spot and coming back often to check in on us.

That precious child next to her clearly doesnt know what he is missing.....Man I love that girl, thats what I look like too after I have a cup cake!
She looks like a "Smurf-ette". Every mother I show these pictures to says "how cute". The non-mothers, like myself, think Yuck. I'm glad I did not have to clean her up. She had blue up to her elbow. You'd think the adults there would think twice before serving blue cupcakes. Why didn't she pick a white one?

She is CLEARLY having more fun than the clean child!! Go girl!! Cupcakes rock.

What I love best is that she grabbed the box, pulled it towards her, and just plucked one right out- that girl knows what is good! Give that cupcake lover a kiss for me!

I absolutely love that last picture. I feel like she is saying, "What? Haven't you seen blue icing before?" It just cracks me up!!!

yeah, that's Austin as well. LOL When people comment about it, we just say "Austin believes eating is a full contact sport!" LOL
