6:30am: AnnaKate woke up happy. Usually she is a little cranky and wakes up before 6am. She played and watched a little tv. I went to the basement and when I came back up stairs, I could not find her. She had gone into my bathroom and gotten into my shower. When I asked her what she was doing, she signed bath and said "baaa". OK little girl...whatever you say!!!
10:00am: Playdate with Cathy and Emerson. Popcorn, stickers, piano, Curious George, puzzles, etc. We all had a ball!
12:00pm: Yummy grilled cheese lunch at the Pickwick with Cathy and Emerson.
1:00pm: Early Intervention therapy with Mrs. Ashley.
2:00pm: Nap---I put AnnaKate in her bed for a snooze and all she did was "play" night-night with all her animals. No napping here!
3:00pm: Hearing test with the audiologist. Results were great and AnnaKate really did a good job responding in the booth.
5:00pm: Dinner. About half way through dinner Billy called me to come and look at AnnaKate. We both were worried because she looked like she was going to have a seizure. Eyes rolling back in her head...etc. Then she laid her head in her pudding and went to sleep!! So this is the scene at 5:35pm at our house. One sleepy girl!
I just love summer!
Billy and I married in 1998 after dating for 6 years. In 2006 we adopted AnnaKate. We were lucky enough to meet her birth mother and take her home from the hospital. At about 4 months old, AnnaKate was diagnosed with Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome. Through all of AnnaKate's struggles and delays she surprises and delights us daily! Thanks for marking this spot and coming back often to check in on us.

I just love summer too! I am thrilled that you had a great day with AnnaKate. Those are the days that I truly remember about summer.

Ha! I love it!! They were so funny together and we had a ball. Glad things went well with the audiologist. Looking forward to swim lessons this afternoon! C
Missed you when you were in Florida. Can't believe I was only 2 hrs away and didn't make it. Hope u had a great time with everyone. AK looks great in the pictures
