Billy and I married in 1998 after dating for 6 years. In 2006 we adopted AnnaKate. We were lucky enough to meet her birth mother and take her home from the hospital. At about 4 months old, AnnaKate was diagnosed with Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome. Through all of AnnaKate's struggles and delays she surprises and delights us daily! Thanks for marking this spot and coming back often to check in on us.

OMG It always amazes me at what parents think is a cute picture to torment a child with as they grow up. I hope AK grows up and chastizes you for this shot!
Too bad we didn't get one of you like that. Maybe Terry needs to go through the old pictures of you guys. If you did run around diaperless I hope we only have those pictures saved in our minds & hearts.
And remember that this is one piture I don't need framed, gifted and hanging in the family hall of fame.
