We had a wonderful Easter. I got some great pictures of our sweet girl.
Today we had the Special Olympics. Our community just started the Young Athlete's Program which includes kids as young as 2. It was neat for AnnaKate to play a part in these fabulous games so early in her "Olympic career". :)
All for now...I am exhausted!
Billy and I married in 1998 after dating for 6 years. In 2006 we adopted AnnaKate. We were lucky enough to meet her birth mother and take her home from the hospital. At about 4 months old, AnnaKate was diagnosed with Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome. Through all of AnnaKate's struggles and delays she surprises and delights us daily! Thanks for marking this spot and coming back often to check in on us.

I love all of the pictures of Anna Kate....but the olympics pictures truly warm my heart!

KELLY...I'm just now reading your posts about Billy...oh my goodness. I'm glad to hear he is doing better, but still, so scary.
What a gorgeous day it was for the Special Olympics. My husband was out there for a little bit and really enjoyed it.
And seriously, that birthday party you threw for AnnaKate was unbelievable! That cake was GORGEOUS...I want one for my birthday this year. :) And I love the banner over the fireplace, the party favors..everything was just adorable and fit you and AnnaKate just perfectly.
Oh, and AK looked so cute on Easter. I think pink is definitely her color!

I just read about your husband and glad he is doing better. Love the pictures of AnnaKate. She is so beautiful just like the flowers in the picture.
