My friend Carrie and I have a neat tradition of meeting at the mall to take our girls to see Santa each year. This year Carrie knew that Rebecca would not like the man in the red suit and she was right. Rebecca screamed and cried. Carrie kept her cool and said take the picture, this is what memories are made of! I love that attitude Carrie!

I just had to throw in last year's picture. She looked so little! (I think Santa has put on some pounds!!)
Billy and I married in 1998 after dating for 6 years. In 2006 we adopted AnnaKate. We were lucky enough to meet her birth mother and take her home from the hospital. At about 4 months old, AnnaKate was diagnosed with Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome. Through all of AnnaKate's struggles and delays she surprises and delights us daily! Thanks for marking this spot and coming back often to check in on us.

I'm so jealous! Emma's 5 and WILL NOT go anywhere near Santa. I couldn't get her on his lap if I tried. That's one of my dreams...to get a picture of her with Santa:).
