Billy and I married in 1998 after dating for 6 years. In 2006 we adopted AnnaKate. We were lucky enough to meet her birth mother and take her home from the hospital. At about 4 months old, AnnaKate was diagnosed with Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome. Through all of AnnaKate's struggles and delays she surprises and delights us daily! Thanks for marking this spot and coming back often to check in on us.

I have no idea how I stumbled across your blog but I just had to comment because your daughter has the same name as my daughter and I've never heard it before. Her name is Actually Annabel Katherine but we call her Anna Kate. Your Annakate is quite beautiful!
I recognize this couple from Southside Fellowship, where we went to church in Greenville! I think they live in my friend, Regina's neighborhood...it's a small world!
I am now an official blog stalker! haha... I saw your link to Emma sight and thought I would check it out. I then realized as I was looking at the pictures that I was her early interventionist when I worked with Bright Start. This is such a great family!!! Anyways, just thought I would share that info.
